Any Dio fans here?
With cancer being such a big part of our story, we thought it would be fitting that our first official cover song should celebrate the man himself.
We're almost done, and it's sounding sick AF. 🤘
Stay tuned!

Born from the ashes of ionizing radiation, deadly poisons, and the depths of despair, 64 Gray is a band that literally should not be. The overwhelming struggles that forged them into the virtuosos they are today also gave them the confidence to push the metal envelope to it's furthest extremes. The result is, quite simply, breathtaking.
In the midst of the COVID pandemic, 2 time stage 4 cancer survivor James Norton (Guitars) grew tired of being a novelty act in the local scene and began composing the music that would result in 64 Gray. James had already been recognized as one of the fastest guitarists alive by many famous guitarists, and he struggled to find members locally who could match his talent. His dream was to turn 64 Gray into a band where no one member was singled out for their skill because all members were equally badass. There would be no ego trips, just raw passion and dedication to creating the most memorable metal on the planet.
Everything turned around in an instant when James was introduced to Andrew Eriksson Vasa (Vocals/Keys), a trauma and su***de survivor who was also a singer and voice coach. Vasa was known locally as one of the most versatile vocalists in metal, with an incredible range and the ability to perform every popular style of metal vocals from operatic to screams to gutturals with such control and precision people accused him of being fake. However, due to life circumstances he had not been singing for several years.
James knew from listening to Vasa's previous work that he was the guy, and the two began collaborating. James began writing the material that would become the debut album "Get Turnt and F**k S**t Up" and Vasa began the arduous task of retraining his voice to the insane level needed to match the intensity of the music.
The two enlisted the help of wonder-drummer Bryce Butler (Shadow of Intent), played two crazy shows within 2 weeks of forming, and slid back into the shadows to craft this album that will be their magnum opus. Now, they are ready to return to the light to show everyone that sometimes you must walk through the darkness to truly appreciate the Sun.
Expect a slew of content over the coming weeks as we get closer to the album release. It's going to be a wild ride, friends!
