A giant red ball is rolling into Deep Ellum.
On June 25, the internationally acclaimed RedBall Project by artist Kurt Perschke arrives in Deep Ellum as part of a citywide public art experience. After appearing in more than 50 cities around the world, the iconic 15-foot installation will make its stop outside Merit Coffee.
As Dallas welcomes visitors from around the globe, Deep Ellum continues its celebration of culture, creativity, and connection through public art. From international murals and street banners to installations like RedBall, the neighborhood is transforming into a vibrant canvas that invites exploration and discovery.

The new Lionel Messi mural in Deep Ellum is bringing fans together. Yesterday, Argentina supporters gathered with flags, drums, dancing, chants, and excitement to celebrate the artwork ahead of the team’s North Texas match. Fans also had the chance to leave their fingerprints on the mural, adding their own mark to a piece that celebrates Argentina’s pride, passion, and deep soccer culture.
Created by Dallas artist José “Joe Skilz” May, the mural features Messi, Argentina’s crest, and the phrase “With all your strength” a tribute to the energy, determination, and love for the soccer shared by supporters around the world.
