We found this giant clamshell in our warehouse so of course we are going to clean and sell it.
This shell is a remnant of when we sold a ton of shells in the 70s and again when they came back in fashion in the early 2000s.
You never know what treasures you will find at the Rock Barrell!

Can you believe these fossilized sea creatures called Orthoceras are hundreds of million years old?
They are found in dried up river beds and carved into beautiful art pieces.

This is such a huge debate...polished or rough?
Labradorite js often polished so the colors are more visible but some rough labradorite has fantastic coloring as well.
Labradorite displays labradorescence AKA it shimmers. The blues, greens, golds,and purples make this mineral a favorite in the crystal world.
These rough chunks of purple opal are mesmerizing! If someone in your life loves opal these pieces are unique and affordable 💜

This order was full of fish beads! We sell a lot of glass and stone beads in our online shop and it is amazing to see these little fish getting some love.
These fish are lamp work glass beads which means that every bead is turned and made by hand.

I get asked what my favorite stone is all the time...
I try not to play favorites especially because each mineral is so beautiful, but there will always be a special place in my heart and on my wrist for stones with inclusions.
These quartz beads have rutile inclusions as well as iron and green chloride. I love that no two beads on these strands are ever the same.
They are perfect for bracelets (I made a simple stretchy bracelet) or necklaces and other jewelry pieces.
I just put out 6mm and 7mm strands in our showroom and we have the 6mm rondelles available on our website.
We wash a lot of rocks...
and sometimes it can be a slog. But the amazing community that we have built in our city and online is worth every bucket load.
