LSC-CyFair Branch Library

🚨 Event Update: Tales to Tails 🚨
Our regular Tales to Tails session won't be happening this coming Saturday, October 10th, as we don't have any dog volunteers available that day.
Join us instead for a Come-and-Go Dog Bookmark Craft from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM (while supplies last). Plus, kids are invited to bring their favorite stuffies from home to read to!
See you Saturday!

How do you kick start your morning?

We had an inspiring author event in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month on Tuesday! Texas Poet Laureate, Guadalupe "Lupe" Mendez, delivered an informative and engaging lecture on his latest book, We Exist in the Whisper: Huelga School Verses, published by Nuestra Palabra. Attendees were impressed with his knowledge, craft, and presentation. A HUGE thanks to our generous Friends of the Library for funding this program and to the LSC-Cyfair Mexican American Student Alliance (MASA) for providing delicious refreshments (elotes, agua frescas, and horchata).
