Brew Ha Ha - Grumpy Old Comics

Get ready for another unforgettable night of laughs at Brew Ha Ha with the Grumpy Old Comics on Thursday, October 15th at Cherry Street Brewing in Vickery Village! Doors open at 6:30 PM, giving you plenty of time to grab a cold pint, find your seat, and settle in for an evening of comedy from 6:30–9:30 PM. There's still time to register to attend next Tuesday's (Oct. 6th) Forsyth County Drug Awareness Council Annual Drug Summit at Local Church Forsyth (3105 Dahlonega Hwy.) beginning at 6 p.m.

The free event is open to everyone but requires registration. This year’s focus is on the topic of "THC and Va**ng: Why Do Kids Do It?"

The Cu***ng Police Department will be in attendance leading an exercise to help parents identify drugs and drug-related paraphernalia.

Between teaching, running a cottage bakery, and wrangling her kids, the former journalism student writes stories about women finding themselves.

Annie will sit down with Denmark Library’s Circulation Supervisor, Lorraine, to chat about her novel "The Fractured Life of Lucy Hughes"—a story following a woman whose life splits into two parallel timelines after a surprise proposal.

The Forsyth County Fire Department needs help! They need local 3rd grade students to help design a safety poster.

Three safety messages to choose from; three winners (one from each safety category).

And… the winning entries will be displayed on billboards throughout Forsyth County.

Entries must be received by October 5th.

We need the help of local 3rd grade students to help design a safety poster talking about one of 3 safety messages. This year, we are doing something really cool! The 3 winners (one from each safety category) will be able to see their poster turned into a billboard, displayed throughout Forsyth County! Of course we also have the dessert party and more for the winners as well.

Tell your 3rd graders to get out their markers and pens and submit their poster by Oct. 5 *with an application attached on the back of the poster*
