The Great American Recovery is strengthened when people have access to a coordinated continuum of support.

Recovery is not one-size-fits-all.

Every pathway deserves dignity, support, and the opportunity to succeed.

09/18/2026

Recovery is not simply the absence of substance use — it is the active, ongoing pursuit of physical health, mental wellbeing, and emotional resilience; embracing the whole self is what makes recovery last.

09/09/2026

The Great American Recovery recognizes that every recovery story has the power to reduce stigma, inspire hope, and remind others that recovery is possible for everyone.

This Recovery Month, we shift the spotlight from challenges to celebration; honoring the milestones reached, relationships rebuilt, and lives fully lived, because celebrating recovery out loud is itself a powerful act of stigma reduction.

Every story shared helps build a more recovery-ready America.

September is National Recovery Month.

The Great American Recovery begins with a simple belief: recovery is strongest when communities work together. Research shows that meaningful human connection rewires the brain for resilience, hope, and sustainable sobriety.

Every partnership strengthens recovery.

Fore! ⛳️ Huge shoutout to The P-Man Foundation for partnering with The Connection Forsyth and proving that recovery can be fun, loud, and full of life. A safe, supportive recovery network is everything. Finding your tribe means real connection, real laughter, and people who have your back (even if your mini golf game needs work). Big thanks to Tin Cup Grill and Mini Golf at Cu***ng City Center for creating the perfect space to connect, compete, and celebrate recovery together. This is what recovery looks like—connected, supported, and actually having a blast.
