Walk-up technology support for WCU. We welcome WCU faculty, staff, and students to visit the Technology Commons for any technology guidance and support.

Our mission is to provide IT support to the WCU campus community, enrich the total student experience and promote the academic mission of the University. Microsoft 365 is free for our students when you sign in with your Catamount email! It’s one less thing you need to purchase before coming to WCU. Simply visit the site, download it, and sign in to the apps using your student email. 📝

On Wednesday, June 10, 6:00 p.m. through 10:00 p.m., Banner hosting services at the UNC System Office will perform maintenance to the Banner production systems environment. During the upgrade period, all Banner applications will be unavailable for use, including the Banner Report Portal, Job Submission, Personal Services, and Special Payments. The myWCU portal (and portal services not dependent on Banner), Canvas, and WCU email will not be affected by the outage and will remain available. The work is scheduled outside normal business hours to minimize the inconvenience for Banner users.

We are so proud of our students!
