Update on Faith. We are in NEED of a foster home-

*Must be an inside home, she can go out to potty and walk around, but she can't get hot, play, run, and keeping flies off her open wounds is a must.

*A home with fewer dogs the better. She needs to stay calm. This is not the time to introduce her to all the family pets, she is in recovery, so calm and quiet is a requirement.

*Fenced yard. She does NOT have experience with leash walking, plus she has wounds on her neck and learning how to walk on a leash is not a top priority. Having a safe, secure yard is necessary at this time.

*Must be able to follow vet instructions on medication and wounds management. She NEEDS her medication to keep healing.

*she has been fine with kids BUT she needs a home where kids understand boundaries. She CAN NOT play with the kiddos right now. She is still in pain.

*Things to know:
~She can not get hot, run, play, stay outside, get wet. Her heart rate must stay low and her wounds need to stay dry and clean.
~she has medication that is required daily!
~crate rest with scheduled outings for potty breaks and light exercise is all she can do.
~WE DO NOT KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT HER. She came is sick and defeated. Her personality will start to come out as she heals. We don't know she is cats, small animals, other dogs, etc. She is to be kept separate until she has healed.

We will be there through every step.

Warrior (Dodger's) mom graciously is allowing us to share with you guys the DNA results to our litter of puppies that recently came through.

Dutchess and Disney are still looking for their forever homes.

🐾 The Dog He Is

Mack is what happens when a canine fitness influencer accidentally gets assigned the personality of a golden retriever trapped in a linebacker’s body.

He moves through life like he’s both ready to protect the kingdom and immediately ask for belly rubs afterward. One minute he’s surveying the world like a majestic adventurer on an important mission… the next he’s leaning into you like he forgot personal space was ever a concept.

He’s confident in appearance, gentle in spirit, and deeply committed to the belief that every human he meets is probably his soulmate.

He is, in every sense, built for greatness — just with a strong preference for cuddles over combat.

🐾 The Wait

Some dogs arrive and find their people quickly.

Mack wasn’t one of them.

Days turned into weeks. Weeks turned into months. And still, no one stopped long enough to choose him.

But here’s what hasn’t changed:

Mack is still hopeful.
Still gentle.
Still the same sweet soul who greets the world with quiet patience instead of frustration.

He’s learned the rhythm of rescue life… but he hasn’t stopped believing there’s more waiting for him.

And we haven’t stopped believing either.

Not all rescue stories move quickly… some wait quietly for their moment.

This week, we’re stepping into Mack’s world — a dog who has been watching life move on around him while he waits for his turn.

Mack isn’t new to rescue. In fact, he is currently our longest waiting rescue, having been with us since January 16th, 2025.

And still… he waits.

Over the next few days, we’re going to share his story — not just the waiting, but the dog behind it.

Because Mack deserves to be seen.
