🔨 What inspired Dean to get involved?
“The previous owner of our company recognized the immense value of being a member of the association, and early in my career, I took full advantage of everything the local and state associations had to offer. From attending classes downstate to earning industry designations, these opportunities shaped me into the builder I am today. The association fosters camaraderie among builders and associates and is invaluable in advocating for our industry in an ever-changing building environment.”

📋 What he values most:
“I value the relationships I’ve built over more than 30 years of involvement in the association, serving in so many capacities. The people and connections are truly what make being part of the Board special.”

🚀 How he sees HBANWI making a positive impact:
“The association gives builders a voice in local and state issues, helping us work toward the goal of affordable housing while keeping our industry strong and informed.”

🌟 What excites him about the future:
“I see a renaissance with our current association. Through the guidance of our officers and staff, the HBANWI is trending upwards and poised to be a strong force in the region for years to come.”

👶 Fun Fact:
“I’ve been active in the building industry for over 34 years, but my greatest joy this past year has been welcoming our first two grandchildren into the world!”

Where's Jake Wednesday - Mirar Custom Homes!

Jake was looking at building himself a home in the area and he stopped by at Mirar Custom Homes. Mirar is a development company that is located right here in Crown Point. Owned by Dean and Sara Jones they have built beautiful homes for years ever since they opened in 1988. Dean had always had an interest in the construction business and started out as a project manager.

Mirar Development provides custom homes, renovations, and remodeling for their customers that will make memories for many years to come!
