Happy National Homemade Cookie Day! 🍪

The kids got to take home their very own jars of cookie dough with Halloween-themed cookie cutters attached, so they can make homemade cookies at home! 🏠🎃

We also had a day full of cookie-themed fun, including a cookie relay, cookie crafts, and making cookies out of playdough! 💙

We’re so excited to bring our Balance families and team together for a fun-filled evening celebrating the fall season! Join us for Trunk-or-Treat, a Cake Walk, games, music, food, crafts, photo opportunities, sensory-friendly activities, prizes, and more! There will be plenty of fun activities for the kids and families to enjoy throughout the evening, plus a few surprises you won’t want to miss!

Come dressed in your favorite fall or Halloween costumes and get ready for a night of fun and making memories together! 🧡

Spirit Week Day 5: Flannel & Boots Friday! 🤠🍂

We wrapped up Spirit Week with some country fun! We enjoyed dancing along to country music during group movement and having fun together. We loved seeing everyone show off their flannels and boots! 💙

Spirit Week Day 4: JERSEY DAY! 🏈🏀

We’re repping our favorite teams and having some fun! We also enjoyed sports-themed crafts and activities throughout the day! ⭐️🏆

Ahoy, mateys! We had so much fun celebrating Pirate Day! 🏴‍☠️

Our kiddos went on a treasure hunt through our sensory bins, practiced fishing for magnetic fish with treasures, and got creative with their own pirate masks. Of course, no pirate adventure is complete without some “Chips Ahoy!” 🍪

Everyone also got to take home their own little treasure chest! 💙🪎

ABA Tip: Antecedents! ✨

An antecedent is what happens right before a behavior. Clear, simple directions can help create clear expectations!

Antecedents can include instructions, requests, or changes in the environment that happen before a behavior. Understanding what happens before a behavior can help us better understand why the behavior may be happening and how we can support the child. 🧩💙
