Here is that same Pyrex casserole holder after I finished restoring it! From found, to fixed!

I found this old Pyrex casserole holding tray a few months ago. It dates to the 1920s. The design caught my eye, and it came with the glass dish- but was missing the lid.

The tray was oxidized and very dull, so I started working hard to clean it off. The picture above was during the cleaning process- after using Brasso and steel wool to clean it off. It didn’t seem to do much, so I went out and bought something that would do a better job! Stay tuned for the next post to see how it went.
