This October, our officers are proudly wearing pink-highlighted patches on our hats in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Together, we stand with survivors, honor those we’ve lost, and raise awareness for early detection and research.

We are proud to congratulate Sergeant Grubecki and Detective Oliver on successfully completing the Maryland State Police Motorcycle Certification Course.
This rigorous, two-week program is one of the most demanding motorcycle training courses available. Officers are pushed to the limits of their skills and the capabilities of the motorcycle under the most challenging conditions. Through intense instruction and practical evaluation, both Sergeant Grubecki and Detective Oliver demonstrated the professionalism, determination, and competence required to earn their certification.
With this achievement, our Motorcycle Unit will continue to represent the Cresskill Police Department at ceremonial events. More importantly, Sergeant Grubecki and Detective Oliver will now be deployed on the roadways of our community. They will enforce motor vehicle laws, conduct proactive traffic enforcement, and engage in community policing efforts that strengthen our presence and expand our reach.

🚗 Overnight Parking Reminder — Cresskill Residents

As we approach the fall and winter months, the Borough of Cresskill reminds residents that overnight parking restrictions will begin October 15 and remain in effect through April 15.

Residents who need to park a vehicle overnight on the street must submit an Overnight Parking Request through PD Linx.

How to Submit a Request:

Visit the Borough of Cresskill website.
Go to Departments → Police Department.
Select the “Overnight Parking Request” hyperlink.
Requests can also be submitted directly through PD Linx.
A separate request must be submitted for each individual vehicle.

Important Reminders:

Overnight parking requests can be submitted each night beginning at 8:00 PM.
After 5 consecutive requests, an implied restriction applies.
Submitting a request does not guarantee approval.
Permission may be denied, or a previously granted permission may be revoked, due to inclement weather or other parking restrictions.

We encourage residents to plan ahead and submit requests as needed throughout the overnight parking season.

✅ No convictions involving crimes or disorderly persons offenses involving moral turpitude

**Holiday Security Briefing**

The Cresskill Police Department joined our partner law enforcement agencies in attending a security briefing at the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office in preparation for the upcoming holidays.

The briefing brought together law enforcement partners and community leaders to discuss safety, security, preparedness, and situational awareness. This collaboration helps ensure our officers are informed, prepared, and ready to support the community throughout the holiday season.

We thank the Bergen County Executive, the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, local religious leaders and our law enforcement partners for their continued dedication to public safety.
