Community Refuge
A place of wholeness, a church to call home.
What are you willing to lose-surrender?
God is calling us out of the pew and into the streets of life to live out faith among the people who desperately want to see evidence God exists.
“And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels. ”
Luke 9:23-26 KJV
I saw this on a friends timeline and it is painfully convicting! 🤯
Questions to ask yourself before you start complaining about your church:
If the church service depended solely on MY worship….. how full of worship would the service be?
If the church had to depend solely on MY faithfulness…… how faithful would my church be?
If the church had to survive solely on MY prayer life….. how much prayer would be going on?
If the church could only go as deep as MY relationship with God goes….. how deep would my church be?
If we had to make it on MY Bible reading and knowledge……. How knowledgeable would my church be?
If we have to go by my offerings, how BIG would the church outreach be?
If the preaching depended solely on my response to the preaching and the altar call…….. how responsive would my church be?
If it all depended on me……. What would happen?
Before you start complaining…….. make sure the you’re:
The first one praying
The first one worshiping
The first one reading and studying
The first one responding
The first one fasting
The first one faithful
The first one giving
Haggai 1:5–7 (KJV):
“Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
Ye have sown much, and bring in little…
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.”
2 Corinthians 13:5 (KJV):
“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves."
“But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”
Matthew 19:26 KJV
BUT WITH GOD!!!!

The title of the tea party was Grace and Lace, but what filled that room was so much more.
It was filled to overflowing with the goodness of God—His amazing grace, His tender mercy, laughter that filled the room, friendships being strengthened, hearts being encouraged, and beautiful souls learning to trust our Savior a little more.
We may have gathered for a tea party, but Jesus met us there. His presence was sweet, His love was evident, and His grace truly overflowed.
Grace and Lace may have been the theme, but His grace became our testimony.

There is something powerful about men of God praying for one another. 🙏
Brothers standing with brothers. Faith strengthening faith. Burdens being carried together.
“Pray one for another...” — James 5:16
This is what the church looks like. ❤️

❤️EL ROI — THE GOD WHO SEES ME. ❤️
There are moments when you may feel overlooked, forgotten, misunderstood, or like no one truly sees what you are carrying.
BUT GOD SEES YOU
-💧He sees the tears you never explain.
-🙏He sees the prayers you whisper when no one is around.
-⚖️He sees the weight you carry while still showing up for everyone else.
-🥊He sees the battles you fight quietly.
-👏He sees your faithfulness when no one applauds it.
Hagar called Him El Roi — “Thou God seest me.”
And she called the name of the LORD that spake unto her, Thou God seest me...Genesis 16:13
What a beautiful reminder: YOU, yes, YOU, have never been invisible to God‼️‼️
🫶When others overlook you, He sees you
🫶When others misunderstand you, He knows your heart.
🫶When you don't know what comes next, He already sees the way.
Today, rest in this truth:
El Roi sees you.
El Roi knows you.
El Roi loves you.
El Roi has not forgotten you. 🙌

🌸 **GRACE HAS YOUR NAME ON IT**
The women of the Bible were not perfect women—they were **real women who encountered a faithful God.**
They faced disappointment, waiting, rejection, fear, loss, uncertainty, and impossible situations. Yet through their stories, we see again and again that **God’s grace was greater.**
Ladies, join us for **Daughters of Grace**, an intimate Small Group Bible Study where we’ll open the Word, share together, and discover how the same God who carried them is still carrying us today.
📖 *“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”*
**1 Peter 5:7 KJV**
💜 **Come expecting to see yourself in their stories—and God’s grace in yours.**

You don’t have to have it all together.
You don’t have to have all the answers.
You just have to come.
Join us for an intimate Ladies Small Group Bible Study as we look into the lives of women in the Bible—their struggles, their faith, their failures, their victories—and most importantly, **the God of grace who met them right where they were.**
📖 *“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”*
**1 Peter 5:7 KJV**
Come as you are. Bring your Bible (Need a bible? We will supply). Bring your story. 💜
