Last week, our employees collaborated with Central Georgia Electric Membership Corporation to facilitate educational activities for students at Cubihatcha Kids, an event organized for Henry County students by the Henry County Water Authority and Cubihatcha Outdoor Education Center.

"It has been such an incredible experience. I truly hope all the volunteers felt that too!" expressed Rebecca Bodron, who coordinated the event. "We really want to provide the kids with exciting opportunities that will ignite a joy and passion in them. I believe if you can get them excited about something they will learn to care for it."

A huge thank you to all the volunteers and Cubihatcha staff who made this amazing week possible, educating the future of our community!

Rockdale Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) gives abused and neglected children a voice in court. Through trained volunteers, CASA advocates for each child’s best interests, connects them with needed resources and works to help ensure they have a safe, permanent home.
