When it comes to training horses, just like in life in general, sometimes you’ve got to go through some ugly stuff to get to the good stuff. – Clinton

Being a good farrier is not just about trimming and shoeing horses. It takes practice, it takes drive, it is continuing to learn, continuing to improve. Sometimes it is helping others as well. As with any trade, the good ones are the ones that are always looking to improve and be better then they were yesterday. If Matt isn't out shoeing someones horse, he is here. Making, shaping and working on his blacksmithing skills.
