Week #3 of Fire Recruit Training is done! Last week was extremely demanding, both physically and mentally for the recruits. Many hours were spent in gear, breathing down cylinders, and learning the basics of search and rescue.
We couldn’t have completed all of the evolutions and instruction without the help of the shifts. Thank you all for continuing to help make this program successful!

Week 2 of Recruit Training is officially complete. Everyone is still going strong, and they are extremely fired up after this week!
To the on/off duty personnel who continue to show up each morning and motivate the recruits through PT, the instructors volunteering their time and expertise both in the classroom and on the training grounds, and to the shifts for continually providing assistance to make this program excel, Thank You!! We are extremely grateful to have the support, and the recruits are benefiting tremendously from the involvement you all have provided.

Fire Recruit Training is back in business!! Capt. Myers and Capt. Biles put in a tremendous amount of prep work for this class, and week 1 has started out strong! Thank you as always to all of the on and off duty personnel, administrative staff, and even current EMS recruits who showed up and motivated our newest members. 16 started out the week, and 15 move on to Week 2.
