๐Ÿ“– Last week, over 450 fourth- and fifth-grade students and just over 200 sixth through eighth graders from schools across the district attended the 33rd Young Authors Conference offered by SparkPath (formerly Success Beyond the Classroom).

The event gave students with a passion for reading and writing the unique opportunity to learn from and write with Minnesota authors and listen to a panel moderated by J. M. Lee, known for the book โ€œThe Nightland Express,โ€ and โ€œThe Dark Crystalโ€ series - which inspired an Emmy-award winning series on Netflix.

โ€œThe conference allows students to envision themselves as authors and foster their love and interest in writing for future learning opportunities,โ€ explained Chad Libby, Anoka-Hennepin Teaching and Learning Specialist for Elementary Talent Development.๐Ÿ“š Read the full story: https://bit.ly/3KrQcvv
