Exciting news for Arkansas entrepreneurs! We’re proud to be part of the group helping push business owners forward across the state! 🚀

Arkansas is doubling down on its commitment to its innovative entrepreneurs by joining a compact of governors nationwide to advance entrepreneurship in the United States. The compact, “Reigniting the American Dream,” is designed to promote the importance of entrepreneurship and establish strategies for increasing opportunities for entrepreneurs.

“Entrepreneurs play a huge role in creating successful economies, and in Arkansas, these visionaries are helping to drive our state economy forward,” said Esperanza Massana Crane, director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission’s Small Business and Entrepreneurship Development Division. “By joining the Reigniting the American Dream compact, Arkansas is making a statement that entrepreneurship is a vital part of our economic strategy, and we are making a commitment to continue providing support and resources for these entrepreneurs.”

Cohort 10 is officially underway! 🎉

This week, the newest 10X Growth Accelerator cohort came together for their first full-day, in-person session, and they wasted no time getting to work.

The day focused on sharpening their ideal customer and unique value proposition, strengthening elevator pitches, diving into digital marketing, and connecting through leadership roundtables. They wrapped up with clear homework and plenty to keep building on before the next session.

Over the next 14 weeks, these Arkansas companies will work across six key areas of growth while learning from experts, one another, and their own businesses.

We’re excited to officially kick off this milestone 10th cohort and see where the work takes them.

We’re kicking off our fall programming on September 3 with Sales Made Simple led by Kenny Kinley, a practical session designed to help business owners take the guesswork out of sales and build a process that actually works.

Kenny will break down how to identify your target customer, understand the problems they need solved, build stronger relationships, ask better questions, and create consistent sales habits that lead to results. We’ll also cover the metrics worth tracking to keep your pipeline moving and improve your sales efforts over time.

We're hiring two paid Marketing Interns to join the Conductor team this fall!

This is not an internship where you'll spend the semester watching from the sidelines. You'll help create social content, design graphics, edit Reels, build newsletters, photograph events, support programming, and contribute to marketing across multiple brands and programs.

You'll also play an important role in helping keep the Arnold Innovation Center running smoothly, welcoming members and guests, assisting with events, supporting daily operations, and helping create the vibrant, collaborative community that makes the AIC such a special place for entrepreneurs.

You'll gain real-world experience, build a stronger portfolio, and see firsthand how marketing supports entrepreneurship and economic development across Arkansas.

💵 $12/hour
⏰ 20–25 hours per week
🎓 College juniors and seniors eligible

🎉 This week we celebrated the Arnold Innovation Center's 4th birthday the best way we know how: with community, games, and ice cream from our friends at Las Delicias. 🍦

Over the past four years, these walls have seen a lot happen. We've hosted dozens of workshops, networking events, pitch competitions, and programs. We've watched businesses launch, ideas turn into companies, entrepreneurs find their footing, and founders take their next big step. We've seen partnerships form, problems get solved, and a community of people committed to building something bigger than themselves grow right here in Central Arkansas.

The AIC has become so much more than a building. It's become a place where entrepreneurs can work, learn, connect, and grow alongside others who understand the journey.

We're incredibly proud of what has been accomplished over the last four years and grateful for every member, entrepreneur, partner, mentor, and supporter who has been part of the story so far.
