CHS ART ROOM

The CHS National Art Honor Society had a great time face painting to help the animals of the Grand Strand Humane Society

I wanted to take a minute to again congratulate our own Christopher Dewitt for his artwork, “Trapped In”, and Mary Sparks for her artwork, “The American School System”, that were submitted and accepted into the Burroughs and Chapin Myrtle Beach Museum 21st Annual High School Juried Exhibition!!!

Chris received FIRST PLACE in the 2D portion of the exhibit!

Congratulations to the TWO pieces that were accepted into the Horry-Georgetown County High Schools 21st Annual Juried Exhibition!!

The students had to submit a photograph of their pieces with descriptions, and they were reviewed by the museum's curators. The date of the show is April 13 - May 22, 2021 and there will also be a rewards ceremony that will be held virtually, the date is TBA.
