Good morning everyone and yes it does get better 😂. Research and development has taught me planting watermelons by the highland cows is not a good idea no not at all!! Hence next year the gardens by the cows will be flowers and the watermelons shall be in a secure location far away from the cows. Hopefully tomorrow we will start bringing in compost to level out the pastures and over seed heavily. Then it’s a waiting game and a lot of hay out back plus feed, but the end result will be lovely green pastures. Chickens are slowly returning to production and in the nick of time. Today is still a little to wet to finish or start anything new so I’ll watch the animals and get on some planning for the upcoming sheep. Please don’t forget to go hug your dog !!

Good morning everyone and by gods grace we are here once again. Sorry for being distant there’s been a lot going on here, and it’s tough to find the time to post. Fall is here and so starts the regeneration of the ranches pastures, and having moody cows with princess horses it’s not easy. Let’s just say yesterday was spent dealing with the highlands whom crushed the fence to eat about 40-50 watermelons! After numerous episodes I moved Elton Moo and Gilligan outback. As of this morning Gilligan is out with the minis and has escaped his confinement, while Elton Moo is just chilling. So onto the day at hand and loving the rain we got and are getting. On a positive note the side by side is a lot easier to herd cows back with. That being said pictures will be up soon and as we go through the process until then could you please go hug your dog

The feed and tack barn has been moved. Yes it’s outback and fits in at its new location. We might put a viewing deck on so we can watch the duck hunting out back. Plus this opens up the front area and will increase that pasture and ffs 🤦‍♂️ now more fence 😂. If I didn’t laugh I’d cry enjoy the day and please go hug your dog
