Truth is you can't do ugly things to people and expect to live a beautiful life.

The AtlasV rocket launch as seen from my ring camera in Myrtle Beach. It wasn’t as bright as I expected. Launch was too far after sunset.

In case you missed my earlier post…rocket launch at 8:52 pm!

It won’t be dry all week! Hallelujah!

TUESDAY Partly to mostly sunny with just a slight chance of a shower inland.

WEDNESDAY Mostly cloudy with showers and a few storms likely in the morning through early afternoon, then partly sunny. Best chances of decent rain will be inland.

THURSDAY Partly sunny and warm

FRIDAY Partly sunny with a slight chance of a shower.

SATURDAY It’s increasingly likely that we could get a soaking rain that could total more than half an inch! We’ll fine-tune this forecast as the week goes along, but it does look promising.

SUNDAY Mostly sunny and pleasant.

ROCKET LAUNCH ALERT!

ULA's Atlas V rocket will launch tonight at 8:52 pm. With skies clearing and the launch within an hour after sunset, it should be highly visible and look like the image in the graphic below. That image is one I took of an Atlas V launch several years ago.

Happy 101st birthday to this gorgeous lady, Mabel Brozowski! She's a resident at Spring Oak at Conway, and we had a ball celebrating her. Her secret to longevity? Eating candy every single day. Seriously! Happy birthday Ms. Mabel and thank you for inviting me, Susie Prosser!

100% ACCURATE!

Adorable! Dave Gombka took this photo of a baby swan in Myrtle Beach. That spiked hair is awesome!

I know it’s hard to believe but there were no edits done to this photo. Cindy and I really are goofballs! Happy Monday everyone!

It never ceases to amaze me what treasures you'll find walking the beaches of the Grand Strand. Hillary Anne stumbled upon this bright and beautiful seahorse near 48th avenue north in Myrtle Beach! She did put it back in the water and it floated away. She doesn't know if it survived. We appreciate you at least caring enough to do the right thing, Hillary!
