We’re so excited to announce our newest partnership with 2X Grammy Award-winning artist & NY Times Bestselling Children’s Book Author, Laufey, and her global Laufey Book Club as we release limited-edition library cards ahead of Library Card Sign-Up Month in September and in celebration of A Very Laufey Day on August 23rd!

Make plans to stop by here at our Conway location during our special pop-up hours on 8/23 from 12pm-3pm and pick up either a green or a blue library card set. We’ll have coffee courtesy of Round Mountain Coffee, limited-edition bookmarks with every card, free themed buttons/magnets, and cookies all for FREE while we listen to Laufey music.

A new iOS update for the Hoopla app is now live and should resolve the issues that have been causing crashes. We recommend updating to the latest version to ensure the best experience with Hoopla.

The library board meets the third Monday of the month. The public are invited to attend and have your voices heard. Agenda items include the Mount Vernon library building, Act 372, and the standards the Arkansas State Library Board are considering for aid to public libraries.

Friday, August 14th, is the last day you can claim your raffle ticket prize! If you received a call saying you were a winner, please be sure to stop by our library by 5pm THIS FRIDAY to get your free prize. 🎟
