There are no magic words we can say to fill our kids with empathy and eradicate all fear/hatred toward others. The truth is, our work on this subject will never be done.
But we can be intentional about the books we read, the people we interact with, the way we speak to and about others. This is worthwhile work that we must continue doing the rest of our lives.
