Great news! I feel like my health has finally reached a turning point. I got up this morning and felt like walking! First time in so so long! My sewing room is getting an overhaul thanks to my wonderful sister and maybe by early summer I’ll be able to hit the vendors ring again!!

Off to the Turkey shoot - where we gun for glory and not actual fowl. Because who needs all that feathered drama anyway?

Had to go to Little Rock ER to get my picc line cleared out. They discharged me and I got tired of waiting on a wheelchair. So I walked-that’s right WALKED my ass out of there on my own!

These only come in toddler size and I think that’s some bu****it

I’m positive there’s been a mistake. People like me are not meant to be handicapped. I’m clumsy, I drop stuff, I hate to be held hostage to other people being present and/or willing to do stuff for me. When I try (and fail) to do it myself I get accused of being hard headed for not asking for help. When I ask for help I get sighs and eye rolls because I’m a burden. When I don’t try I’m not working hard enough to get better. I honestly can’t win at this game when the deck is stacked against me. I try not to feel sorry for myself but I’m obviously failing at that too. I don’t like this- I wasn’t made for it.

Leaving the hospital with two huge bags of iV supplies. And that’s only a week’s worth. Waiting on my nurse to change my picc line dressing and I’m out of here for the time being

Yo, hospital life is the best! Got my hip changed like a light bulb and antibiotics spinning like a roulette wheel. Pain is a pesky little thing, but Dilaudid is the real MVP, dropping by every 4 hours with some serious humor!
