Congratulations to our very own 2025–26 Distinguished Professor of the Year, Andrew Bliss!

As a Senior Military Science Instructor and US Army Cadet Command Contractor at Coastal Carolina University, Mr. Bliss continues to make a lasting impact on every cadet in Chanticleer Company through leadership, mentorship, and dedication to excellence.

This week’s lab focused on platoon ambush tactics establishing security, setting the conditions, and executing decisive action. Strong work by the cadets.

Last lab before spring break. Cadets executed Movement to Contact, maneuvering through the woods to locate the enemy and complete the mission.

Don’t let us find you because we will RAID the objective! This week’s lab was focusing on Raid attacks. Emphasizing how to trap the enemy the in a spot, seize the terrain and withdraw! Nice job cadets!

Ready, set, ATTACK. This week’s lab focused on attacking the enemy in wooded/ open terrain. Good job cadets!

Attack! Don’t react! Cadets weekly lab touched on Attack operations on open/ wooded terrain. Nice job cadets!

Lab of the week: Ambush. Cadets used TMK kits and strategy to catch the enemies off guard! Way to go cadets!

Can you move and react to contact? No, well we can! Cadets weekly lab was movement to contact! Cadets worked on moving as squads/ platoons in order to find different ways to surprise and catch the enemy off guard. Nice job!

Spring labs are underway! Cadets did STX Lanes refreshers. Working on tactics, TLPs, and OPORDs/ WARNOs. A gear hand out and lay was also conducted!

Spring semester is upon us! Welcome back Chanticleer Company! The cadets were welcomed back to the university and ROTC! Also, the cadets participated in different series of learning mindset challenges and meditation!
