🌿 New Program!

Homeschool Enrichment at Willow Roots!

Due to popular demand, we're excited to offer a unique 2-day-a-week homeschool enrichment program designed to come alongside the incredible work you're already doing at home.

Our learners will grow in:

📚 Reading & math enrichment that complements your home curriculum—not replaces it.

🌱 Hands-on learning in the garden and on the farm, caring for animals and exploring the natural world.

🍞 Practical life skills through cooking, baking, and time in the kitchen.

🤝 A nurturing community where curiosity, confidence, and meaningful friendships can grow.
Our goal is to blend strong academic enrichment with real-world experiences that inspire a love of learning.

Whether planting seeds, measuring ingredients, reading great books, or solving math challenges, every day is filled with purposeful, engaging experiences.

If you're looking for a program that values both academic enrichment and hands-on learning, we'd love to welcome your family to Willow Roots!

Limited spots available for ages 7-10!

🌱 We’re ever growing and looking for dedicated educators!

Who we’re looking for:
• Value connection and curiosity over checklists
• Are comfortable thinking outside the box
• Love working with mixed ages and meeting kids where they are
• See the beauty in a relationship-centered environment
• Can balance structure with flexibility

This isn’t a sit-at-your-desk kind of job. It’s active, engaging, sometimes messy, and incredibly meaningful.

If you’re someone who wants to be part of a community where kids are excited to learn (and genuinely sad to miss a day), we’d love to connect.

Everyone has experienced or heard of kids faking sick so they don’t have to go to school.

Here, we experience the opposite more often.

We’ve seen kids try their very best to power through a bad cough because they don’t want to miss the day—ask us not to call their parents. They are genuinely disappointed when they have to stay home and miss out. We’ve even had learners, fresh from getting teeth pulled, asking if they can come right back. Oh, and crying the last day of school because they know they won’t be back for a couple months. 😢

The contrast is a little funny, but also something deeper. When children feel connected, when their days are filled with meaningful work, real relationships, and hands-on experiences, school becomes a place they truly want to be. It’s not just somewhere they go, it’s somewhere they belong.

Of course, we still send them home to rest when they need it, but it speaks volumes that they really are disappointed when they have to leave.

And honestly, it’s something special to be a part of. Getting to witness that kind of joy, connection, and love for learning every day is a reminder of why this work matters so much.
