👋 Meet the Agent: Marty!

We spend a lot of time talking about insurance, but there’s a lot more to our team than what happens at the office!

When we asked Marty what he enjoys doing when he’s away from work, he shared that he loves traveling and exploring new places, especially when he gets to experience them with his girlfriend, Julie, and his family.

For Marty, it’s about seeing new places, making memories, and spending quality time with the people who matter most.

We are so grateful that Donald treated the team to some fun at Dave & Buster's! We had a great time getting to know each other a little better, enjoying some friendly competition, and, most importantly, sharing plenty of laughs. 😊

What mountain are you trusting God to move?

We asked Adan what came to mind when thinking about the mountains we need to trust God to move in our lives. Here are his thoughts:

“Unbelief in every form.

Either coming from others or within ourselves.

Especially from within ourselves.

We know we serve a God of wonders, but we limit ourselves from seeing how truly WONDERFUL He is.

Trusting HIM not just for the big stuff, but also in the areas we deem too insignificant for HIM to handle.

Trying to handle it on our own when GOD wants to handle those too.”

What a great reminder for the beginning of a new week.

Sometimes the mountain isn't only the circumstance in front of us. Sometimes the mountain is our own unbelief.

We can trust God with the things that seem impossible, but we can also trust Him with the things that seem small. We don't have to decide what is important enough to bring to Him.

What is one area you need to stop trying to handle on your own and trust God with this week?

🙏 Lord, help us recognize the areas where unbelief has crept in. Help us trust You with the big things, the small things, and everything in between. Remind us just how WONDERFUL You are. Amen.

Grace may be too young to understand Dad’s jokes, but she already knows when her daddy is funny! 😂🐄

We’re glad Adan finally made it back from his “Office of the Day” tour and spent some time in the office with Donald. 😂

Donald may run the show around here, but one thing we appreciate is that he always makes time to work alongside us, answer questions, train us, and encourage us along the way.

Carrie caught Ryan hard at work on the phone with a customer. He had no idea she was taking pictures, which of course makes the pictures better.

We also learned something about Ryan. Apparently, his hands have to be involved in the conversation too. 😂 The man cannot talk on the phone without them.

And then there’s that last picture... We have no idea what the customer said, but judging by Ryan’s face, it must have been good. 😂

Howdy! 👋

Storms and strong winds can turn things around your yard into hazards pretty quickly. We've had the opportunity to talk with firefighters over the years, and these are some of the outdoor safety tips they recommend to help protect your home and your family.

🌳 Trim dead trees.
Dead or weakened trees are more likely to break or fall during high winds, potentially damaging your home, vehicles, fences, or even power lines.

🏠 Remove limbs hanging over your roof.
Overhanging branches can scrape against shingles, clog gutters, or come crashing down during a storm. Keeping them trimmed back can help prevent unnecessary roof damage.

🌿 Keep vegetation away from your AC unit.
Bushes, weeds, leaves, and other debris can restrict airflow around your outdoor unit. Dry vegetation and debris can also add another potential fire hazard around your home.

⛈️ Secure trampolines before storms.
It doesn't take hurricane-force winds to move a trampoline. Strong wind gusts can lift one right out of the yard and send it into your home, a neighbor's property, vehicles, or power lines.

🪑 Anchor or secure outdoor furniture.
Patio chairs, tables, umbrellas, and other outdoor items can become dangerous projectiles during severe weather. If a storm is coming, secure them or bring them inside when possible.

A few minutes spent walking around your yard and taking care of potential hazards today could help prevent costly damage when the next storm rolls through.
