Devotional:

Jesus didn't call us to shine our light so others would notice us. He called us to shine so they would see Him.

Sometimes shining looks extraordinary, but more often it happens in the ordinary moments. A kind word to someone who's discouraged. Choosing patience instead of frustration. Offering forgiveness when it's difficult. Taking time to listen. Serving without expecting recognition.

Every act of love, compassion, and faithfulness points people toward the character of Christ. We don't have to be perfect to reflect His light. We simply need to be willing to let Him shine through us.

This week, ask God to make you aware of the opportunities He places in front of you. You never know how one small act of kindness or one encouraging conversation could point someone to the hope found in Jesus.

How can you intentionally let the light of Christ shine through you this week?

Prayer:

Father, thank You for calling me to reflect the light of Christ. Open my eyes to the people around me who need encouragement, kindness, and hope. Help my words, my actions, and my attitude point others to You. May everything I do bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name, Amen.

This picture from our TWFG Conference means a lot to me.

It reminds me that some of the best things in life take time to grow. Friendships built on loyalty, trust, and showing up for one another don't happen overnight.

I've had the privilege of calling Adan a friend for more than 25 years, Ryan for over 20 years, and Corey for more than 15 years.

Those aren't just coworkers. They're lifelong friends who have stood beside me through different seasons of life.

I'm grateful for each of them and for the opportunity we have to serve our community together.

Here's to the friends who've been there through the highs, the lows, and everything in between. Thank you for being part of the journey. 💚

I've known Donald since my high school days, well over 20 years now. He was just a little guy when I first met him! 😄

If I had to describe Donald in three words, they would be smart, compassionate, and hardworking.

One thing he's definitely known for is being a huge Astros fan! ⚾
