Even though I'm on the road with the crew for the National Finals Rodeo event here in Las Vegas, I'm still working hard to improve our company website, BookkeepingConroe.com.

Last night at the hotel, I made the following updates:

🚀 Added a Phone/Social links section to the navbar
🚀 Updated the H1 and CTA language in homepage hero section
🚀 Added Privacy, Terms, and Disclaimer pages
🚀 Added a Contact page with a form
🚀 Added more SEO elements, including on-page keywords and schema
🚀 Added a hamburger menu that appears on mobile devices

To be honest, I'm a little surprised this is working so well.

We're overtaking some established businesses in our local area for Google Search results.

And I suspect these guys have paid, or are paying for, web builders and marketing specialists.

But I'm just doing everything myself, custom coding it all to ensure maximum performance.

And because I work really hard, I don't think my competition is going to be able to make sense of spending as much as would be necessary to compete with me :)

Paying for services may not make sense until you've reached a certain revenue level.

Until you reach that point, save money and just do it yourself - but do it right!
