📢 Attn. Digital License Hunters: physical tagging is still required!

Upon harvest, immediately “execute” your tag in the Texas Hunt & Fish app.
➡️ If you have service, record the confirmation number on a durable material and attach it to the deer or turkey.
➡️ If you don’t have service, write the legal first and last name of the person who harvested the animal, hunting license customer number (found in the app), and harvest date/time on a durable material, attach it to your deer or turkey, then update your digital tag in the app once you have service. You will then receive a confirmation number which must be added to the physical tag.

Digital tags don’t mean “no tags”—they just live in your phone instead of your pocket.
✅ Download the Texas Hunt & Fish app before you head out
✅ Make sure your phone is charged
✅ Keep the tag on until you reach final destination
