Gerald Berger(Bass)
Native of Montgomery County, graduate of Montgomery High School, Gerald’s life changed in high school when he bought a ’76 Fender Precision bass guitar with earnings from an FFA project. Initially he picked out country bass lines from radio/records, eventually started a rock band with schoolmates. After high school he played in rock cover bands in Houston and Texas/Oklahoma/Louisiana region. In late 80s was a member of XOX, which had regional success under management of Bill Hamm – Lone Wolf Mgmnt (ZZ Top, Van Wilkes, Clint Black). He since has toured the world as a core member of AXE, and eventually settled down to raise a family.
