Moe's Performance

Cain brought his 2016 Ram to us this week due to a collapsed lifter and a nasty tick at idle. We got him fixed up with a Moe’s Performance NSR cam kit, JBA ceramic coated Shorty Headers, S&B cold air intake, Moe’s Performance 87mm ported throttle body, ATI underdrive pulley, 180° thermostat, and a Diablo I3 tuner with Hemifever custom tuning. This truck makes a ton of torque down low and is a blast to drive around daily.

Michael brought his truck to us this week to bring some life back into his 2012 Ram 1500. He ended up going with the Moe’s Performance HPT cam, Stainless Works longtube headers, Borla catback exhaust, 6.4 Intake manifold with S&B cold air intake, Moe’s Performance 87mm ported throttle body, ATI 15% underdrive pulley, 180° thermostat, V6 electric fan, Moe’s Performance 4.56 gears, Edge Racing 3400 stall torque converter, and a Diablo T2 tuner with Hemifever custom tuning. This has completely transformed the power and driveability of this older 6sp truck. It has a lot of life left in it now, and he is going to have a blast with the new found power.

Eric brought his 2015 Ram to us this week to fix 4 broken exhaust manifold bolts. He wanted to take it a step further, so we installed a set of ARH longtube headers, Vararam Air Grabber intake, Diablo I3 Tuner with Hemifever Custom Tuning, and removed the active grille shutters to help fight this ridiculous heat in South Texas.

Not every truck is a race truck. Steven brought his clean 2015 Ram to us yesterday because of a locked up lifter and a flat cam lobe. His main priority is reliability, so we installed an MMX no tune required cam and simply disabled the MDS in his computer. Now he is set for many years to come without having to worry about another failed cam/lifter.

It is time to bring .aworktruck back out of retirement after being put away for the last 3 years. 2015 Ram 1500 with an MMX 422”, single Forced Performance 85mm turbo, ATI TH400, 9” Rear, running a Big3Racing gateway and Holley Dominator. 1250hp/1100tq at 20psi on C16. Lets see how far in to the 8s we can go in the 1/4 mile on this new setup.

Here in an in cab 9 second 1/4 mile run down the track in the Whipple Supercharged 2014 Ram that we posted about yesterday. Truck has a 422”, 2.9L Whipple Supercharger, Sipple built 8HP70 transmission, and tuned on E85.

Where are the 5/6sp guys at? I think it might be time to build another one of these just for fun and see how deep in the 11s we can take it with a naturally aspirated 5.7. Who would be interested in seeing a build like that with documentation along the way?
