Booths are now available! As a part of an ongoing effort to help connect our community's businesses and workforce, the CEDC, in partnership with Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce, is hosting the 10th Annual Job Fair from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on January 25th at The Lone Star Convention & Expo Center, 9055 Airport Rd in Conroe. Presenting sponsors for this event are ResourceMFG and Crown Cork and Seal.

Each booth is approximately 8’ x 10’ and includes a table and two chairs - cost is $200/Chamber members and $250/non-members. Electricity hookup is available for an additional $25. To register, visit the event page at https://hubs.li/Q010BGYC0

The is an official "Stock the Sleigh" donation spot for the Montgomery County Food Bank holiday food drive. This year MCFB's goal is to collect 100,000 pounds of food to meet the increased need during the holiday season. The food drive will run until December 3. Please join us in fighting hunger this holiday and make a difference in the lives of children, seniors, and families in our community.
The food bank's most needed items include:
• Canned or dry beans
• Grains (rice, pasta, macaroni & cheese)
• Canned vegetables (low sodium, no salt added)
• Peanut butter
• 100% fruit juices
• Canned fruits (light syrup or its own juices)
• Hot and cold cereals (oatmeal, cheerios, corn flakes)
• Healthy snacks (raisins, granola bars, protein bars)
• Monetary donations ($1 provides five meals)
