Okay but this diy cake purse with this second hand red gingham dress 👀… tell me this isn’t the cutest combo ever 🍒🎂

I fully built this outfit around the bag. Dessert-core forever.

Obsessed with my homemade cake purse. She’s sweet, she’s impractical, she’s art 🎂💖

How I took a men’s 2X button-up and turned it into this because the men’s section is the best source of fabric.
Puff sleeves, Peter Pan collar, lace trim, cropped fit 💕

Five tries later and I finally figured out how to turn a men’s button-up into the cutest coquette top.

Oversized thrift find ➝ cropped, Peter Pan collar button up with puff sleeves and ruffles.

This took about five hours total, so it’s a one-day upcycle project. I used a basic bodice block with a Peter Pan collar pattern, and I’ll be posting a tutorial soon!

I found this burn book loungefly bag at Goodwill and screamed in excitement when I saw it. I also thrifted this cute pink sweater a little while ago which I decided was perfect for this outfit with this bag.

Every thrift store has men’s button-ups. Let’s make them cute.

My favorite outfit from each month of 2025 💕 a very cute little fashion recap.

Okay, tell me why being invited to feels like being accepted into the softest, coziest, (not so) secret society 🧶

So excited (and honestly honored) to be part of this group of ladies who get together every second weekend of the month just to craft. No pressure. No perfection. Just hands busy, tummies full, and a table covered in crafts. We spend the day learning new crafts, making things with our hands, and going home with something we actually make ourselves.

It’s wholesome. It’s lovely. It’s community in its purest form. And I’m so grateful I get to be included in these weekend workshops that remind me why creating together is so special.

If you’ve ever thought “I wish I was crafty,” then this is your sign

I get DMs all the time that say things like, “I wish I could sew,” or “I wish I knew how to do art,” or “I don’t even know where to start.”

And here’s the truth: nobody starts knowing how to do this stuff.

I’m spending my day at a place called Granny Camp ( ), and it’s a weekend workshop where there are multiple craft stations going on at the same time. Everyone leaves with a finished project. No pressure. No “you should already know this.” Just learning. If you’ve ever thought, “I wish I could do that,” then this is your sign to take a class, go to a workshop, or sit at the table anyway.
