Welcome Daisy Belle and family to APR ❤️

We have finally figured out temporary fosters for the mom and 6 babies found in the woods off Massey Rd, Conroe.

This has been really tough, stressful and heartbreaking at times. Two older pups went to Montgomery County Animal Shelter Texas. One has an adopter and one boy, Jack is still there, we would love to help him with a committed foster.

We are looking for committed fosters through adoption for mom, Jack and the 6 pups (3 boys and 3 girls). Pups in pairs would be ideal until they are a few weeks older.

Mom is amazing, quite petite and so resilient. She lived in the woods for weeks, has had 2 litters of pups that we know of and is so happy to have good food and a soft safe place to lay her head.

We’re excited to once again be partnering with the Spay and Neuter Alliance of Montgomery County for another public spay and neuter event!

This event will provide FREE spay and neuter services for owned cats and dogs of Montgomery County residents. Helping pet owners access these services is an important part of preventing unwanted litters and keeping pets healthy and in loving homes. ❤️

Hi! My name is Sammie and I am a sweet 4-5 year old 12 pound Shih Tzu. I was found in need of some help with my overgrown, flea-invested coat. Once I got all cleaned up, my confidence came back!

Listen, I fell on some hard times so my trust in humans is sometimes a little shaky. However, if you give me a little time and treats, I will most likely let you into my inner circle. Once there you are locked in for life. My favorite thing to do is sit and cuddle with members of my inner circle. I can lounge all day! However, if you want to get up and go we can do that too. I am an excellent car rider and walk well on my leash. As long as I am with my people I am happy!

My second favorite thing to do is play with toys and my foster siblings. I may not be a spring chicken, but I can still be as playful as a puppy! I like all my foster siblings–other dogs, cats, and the humans too.

I am looking for a family who will be patient and give me the time to warm up. I am also a little high maintenance and will need regular grooming–it takes a lot to look so handsome! If you think you might be the right family for me go ahead and fill out an app and let’s meet!

A few weeks ago, Haze and his sister were dumped in a neighborhood. They are just babies, scared and unsure of the world. Thankfully, they were given a second chance—and now it's Haze's turn to find the forever family he's been waiting for.

Haze is an approximately 9-month-old Heeler/Kelpie mix with the sweetest heart and the happiest personality. He loves to play, adores people, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He's the kind of pup who will be your adventure buddy during the day and your cuddle buddy at night.

Joey is a young pup in an old man’s body! He’s so laid back and happy to plod around with anyone! He’s a wonderful puppy, waiting for a wonderful home!

The sweetest boy and such a gentle soul. He is farm tested and kid approved! Great with all 4 leggers, kennel trained, working on leash (good but scaredy cat and will put his breaks), loves to play, and is always down for snuggles and a nap. Best fit with a family willing to train and be patient through puppy and teenager phases.
