Summer hours (June, July, August) are 11am to 1pm. The Commerce Food Pantry is a non-profit food assistance organization. Have a donation? to 1 p.m.
A 501(c)3 non-profit organization that distributes food and personal care items to those in need residing in 75428, 75422, 75448, 75449, and 75469 on Thursdays from 2 to 4pm. It is housed at the First Presbyterian Church of Commerce and is governed by a board of directors and staffed by volunteers. For June, July, and August, the pantry will be open for curbside distribution from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1216 Monroe Street (First Presbyterian).

Pantry Manager Lynda Bicknell Williams, pictured in the photo on the right, receives a donation of ground pork from Hunt County Farm Bureau Board Member Brandon Boerner.
Our neighbors have appreciated having an extra protein option! Thanks to Hunt County Farm Bureau for supporting a local youth livestock exhibitor while also helping provide nutritious food for families in need. We are grateful for their generosity! π·

From June 1β26, all children and teens 18 years old and younger can receive free breakfast and lunch meals at designated CISD campuses. Enrolled students with disabilities up to age 21 also qualify.
Good nutrition helps students continue growing, learning, and thriving all summer long, and we are thankful to continue serving our Tiger community beyond the school year. π§‘
