Last month our outreach team attended the Senior Fair hosted in Culver City. It was great meeting all of the friendly attendees. Thank you to all that came to visit our booth!

At the end of August, our outreach team had the pleasure of joining the Mexican American Opportunity Foundation (MAOF) Food Drive!It was wonderful connecting with familiar faces, meeting new members of the community, and answering questions about our LIHEAP utility assistance services. We’re grateful for opportunities like these that allow us to connect with our community, share valuable resources, and help spread awareness about available assistance programs. Back in July our outreach team attende the Sounds of LA Fair located at Obregon Park. The day was filled with plenty of musical entertainment and tons of local county residents. It was a pleasure meeting everyone that came to visit our booth.

Last week our outreach team was at the Baby Expo and Resource Fair hosted by Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys. It was a great time meeting everyone that came to inquire about our services and learn about our program.

Today, we’re highlighting the incredible impact of the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) across California during the 2025 program year. 💙
The numbers speak for themselves. LIHEAP continues to support thousands of California households, including families with young children, seniors, and individuals with disabilities who rely on essential energy assistance.

🏠 6,000+ homes weatherized across California
💡 Millions of dollars in utility assistance provided to low-income households
🤝 49 utility companies worked with Local Service Providers (LSPs) to deliver these critical services

These accomplishments are made possible through the collaborative efforts of California’s LIHEAP Local Service Providers, community partners, utility companies, and advocates working together to help families stay safe, healthy, and comfortable in their homes.

We hope to see continued support from our local leaders, elected officials, and governments to protect and fund LIHEAP for 2027 and beyond. California families depend on these vital services. ❤️
