Our students were thrilled when the Commerce Public Works crew stopped in front of our fence today! The workers quickly gathered and loaded branches into their truck using the big claw, and they had quite an audience watching every move. The students were fascinated by the equipment and loved seeing it in action.

We are so thankful for the hardworking crew who not only helped clean up the area but also took the time to wave to the students as they headed out. Your kindness made their day and created a memorable experience for everyone. Thank you, Commerce Public Works! Commerce Main Street

✈️🌎 Attention Families! 🌎✈️
Today, your little travelers boarded Flight Imagination and took off on quite the adventure! We soared through the skies to the beach, made a stop at the zoo to visit some furry and feathered friends, and even landed for pizza and ice cream (because every great vacation needs a tasty treat! 🍕🍦).

Our amazing flight attendants and captains helped keep everyone safe by teaching us about airplane safety and serving delicious snacks during our journey.

So, if your child comes home today insisting they flew on an airplane, don't be surprised—they did... with the help of their wonderful imagination! We traveled the world, made memories, and returned safely to school with lots of smiles and stories to share.

Some of our STP students enjoyed preparing a delicious and nutritious açaí bowl during their workshop. Through this hands-on activity, students learned about healthy food choices, balanced nutrition, and the importance of incorporating fruits and nutrient-rich ingredients into their daily diets. Activities like these help students develop practical life skills while encouraging healthy eating habits that support their growth, learning, and overall well-being.

Some of our summer students learned Aboriginal Art. Did you know Australian dot art is a traditional storytelling technique created by Indigenous Australians. Instead of using solid lines, artists use thousands of tiny painted dots to form shapes like native animals, nature landscapes, and hidden maps that record important cultural stories. How cool is that.

It’s never goodbye… it’s just “see you later” with Ms. Z

To know Ms. Z is to love her! From keeping us laughing to loving on our students like they were her own, she has been such a bright light to our team. The students adore her, and honestly… so do we. 🥹

While her small business and sweet family in Atlanta need her more full-time, we’re thankful this isn’t a forever farewell. Ms. Z has already promised she’ll still pop in to help from time to time — and the fact that she would make that drive just to be with us says everything about the kind of person she is. ❤️

Dedicated, hardworking, joyful, and probably responsible for at least 87% of our daily laughs — Ms. Z, you are one of a kind. Thank you for loving our kids, supporting our team, and leaving your mark on all of us.

We love you, we’ll miss you, and we already can’t wait for your “fill-in days” 😂✨
