Every year, Temple Israel’s Tikkunapalooza brings people together to do good and this year was no exception.

Moms2B is deeply grateful to receive thoughtful donations, from books to baby care essentials, all supporting the families in our program. We are honored to be included in this beautiful day of service and so thankful for the items that were hand picked for our families. Your kindness helps to continue our mission of supporting Franklin County moms and babies.

Moms2B had a wonderful time at the Spring into Summer Community Celebration on April 22nd!

We connected with families, shared resources, enjoyed pizza, and watched the kiddos light up in the bounce houses.

A beautiful start to summer and a great reminder of the power of community!

Hi Moms2B fam! It’s !

This canned salmon dip is packed with protein, omega-3 fat (DHA), and vitamin D.

Salmon is also low in mercury so it’s a safe fish choice during pregnancy and while breastfeeding.

You can eat this as a nutritious snack with whole grain crackers or make it into a sandwich for a quick lunch.

*Ingredients*

• 1 canned salmon (5 oz), drained

• ¼ red onion, finely chopped

• ½ bell pepper, diced

• 1 teaspoon dried or fresh dill

• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

• 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or 1 tablespoon mayonnaise plus 1 tablespoon non-fat/1% plain Greek yogurt

• 1 teaspoon lemon juice

*Instructions*

1. Flake the salmon with a fork in a small bowl. Mash the bones well if using canned salmon with bones.

2. Mix in onion, bell pepper, dill, and black pepper.

3. In another small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, yogurt (if using), and lemon juice.

4. Add mayonnaise mixture to salmon mixture. Mix well.

5. Serve as a dip with whole grain crackers or make a sandwich with it.

Hey mama, here’s a safety tip that could make a difference.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the seatbelt should sit between the breasts and across the mid‑clavicle, with the lap belt under the belly—low on the hips and across the upper thighs.

Wearing the lap belt too high on the abdomen has been linked to over half of fetal losses resulting from motor vehicle crashes.
