When picking things up & putting it back down, do you think about what your back is doing?

Deadlifting with a safe back is entirely achievable by mastering the hip hinge, bracing your core effectively, and keeping the barbell close to your body. Research shows that when done properly, deadlifting is not inherently dangerous and can actually strengthen the lower back muscles, improve spinal resilience, and reduce chronic lower back pain. Injuries typically happen from ego lifting, sudden jerking movements, or poor load management rather than the exercise itself.

Toes to bar (T2B) are a highly effective gymnastics & core movement. Building abdominal strength, increasing grip & shoulder endurance, while at the same time improving full-body coordination. Mastering this dynamic exercise directly enhances your ability to perform advanced calisthenic maneuvers like muscle-ups, as well.

Still working on T2B?! Hanging knee raises are another variation to try.
