Our Easter basket giveaway was a HUGE success!! 🐣💐🧺✨

We were able to provide an Easter basket for EVERY child & teen at both churches we attended 🙌🏽💖 and even took to the streets in the bottoms to pass out the last 9 baskets! 🛍️💛

As we move forward, I want to share an important update about our mission and focus. 💛

From this point on, Against All Odds will be primarily focused on making our annual Christmas event bigger, better, and more impactful each year for our community. 🎄 This event means everything to me, and I want to make sure every child feels the love, warmth, and magic of the season.

That said, I may still host smaller events throughout the year—like teen baby showers and other special community moments—as time and resources allow. Giving back will always be at the heart of what we do.

🎁 This year’s Christmas focus:
We are working to keep our community warm by providing:
• Snuggies/blankets
• Stockings for every child

Against All Odds Winter Wish List for Local Families Who Need a Miracle

🌟 Exciting News for Our Community! 🌟

Against All Odds is incredibly grateful to share that we have received a $500 Spark Good Local Grant from Walmart Store #7054 in Lockbourne, Ohio!
This support will directly help launch our Teen Parent & Family Stabilization Project, an initiative designed to fill urgent gaps for young parents and families facing hardship in Fairfield and Franklin Counties.

Because of this grant, we will be able to provide:
🍼 Diapers, wipes, formula & baby essentials
🧸 Safe-sleep kits like pack-and-plays and monitors
🚌 Transportation help for medical and WIC/SNAP appointments
🍽️ Household and hygiene necessities
🧾 Barrier-removal assistance (IDs, uniforms, small emergencies)
🤝 One-on-one resource navigation and referrals

For many young parents, the smallest barrier can create the biggest setback — and this support helps prevent crises before they happen. Walmart’s generosity will directly help local families stay stable, safe, and supported.
