Local Baydari Organization conducted a survey on the Galoolay village today. Galoolay is home to thousands of Madhiban natives and is one the most actively growing rural villages for them. Here they are speaking their indigenous language, Aff Baydari.

USR’s executive director of Somalia & the Chairman of the locally registered “Baydari Organization”, Ugaas Mohamed Bashiir Ugaas Hassan, arriving in Madhiban settlement of “ ” to do a survey for development of marginalized clans there 👏.
Danwadag is home to 8,000 members of the Madhiban, Tumal & Yibir communities. These marginalized clans do not receive aid from the local Puntland administration, hopefully this survey of the land will help them receive the aid they need directly from international organizations.

USR New Generational Poetry Night hosted by USR Director & Chairman of the Madhiban Youth Unity Movement Dr. Ahmed Abdirahman.
This was a wonderful night where not just Madhiban but Tumal youth included were able to portray their poetic talents.

Pure apartheid style discrimination ongoing against the Madhiban clan in the Cabudwaq district in state of . USR greatly appreciates the Dooy Shabeel State Civil Society for standing in solidarity with the Madhiban people. The international communities must be aware of this ethnic cleansing and denial of human rights.

We will be hosting a summer ceremony event on Friday July 25th! This will be a family friendly event, we encourage everyone to come attend đź‘Ź. There will be food & drinks provided, a USR kickball game, and many other activities for the youth!

USR Somalia Director Ugaas Sheikh Maxamed Hassan Bashir and Chief Representative for UNISOM Kristen Young work on the development of marginalized clans in Somalia.
