Our custom map placemats made it into the Fall 2026 issue of Gift Shop Plus Magazine, featured on page 39 in their "Stepping Through History" product gallery.

This month, Marsha celebrates 10 years with Daisy Mae Designs, and we couldn't let the milestone pass without a big thank you.

When Marsha joined us back in 2016, we were still making map charm jewelry at a much smaller table - my dining room table. She would pick up products a few times a week and work on it from home.

She's been here through every chapter since: the move into home goods, the busy holiday seasons, the trade show scrambles, COVID-19, and the growth into shops all across the country. A lot of what you love about our products has passed through her hands along the way.

Ten years is a long time, and we don't take a single day of it for granted. Marsha, thank you for your hard work, your patience, your laughter, and for showing up for this team year after year. We are so lucky to have you.

I still miss this suitcase.

She went all over the world with me, and every sticker told a story: a pint in Dublin, castles in Edinburgh, gelato in Florence, and plenty of Midwest road trips in between. When she bit the dust last year, I realized the stickers were never really about the suitcase. They were about wanting to carry my favorite places with me wherever I went.

I think that's why I've always loved maps and the little reminders of where we've been. The trip ends, but the memories stick around (pun fully intended). ❤️
