Behind every early pour, late delivery, long meeting, and busy season, there are families making sacrifices alongside the people working in this industry.

This Father’s Day, we’re thinking about the dads who leave before sunrise, work through the heat, answer calls after hours, and still show up for the moments that matter at home. The concrete industry is built by hardworking people, but it’s also supported by strong families behind the scenes.

To all the fathers and father figures across our industry, thank you for the example you set every day through your work ethic, reliability, and dedication to those around you.

🔨Happy Father’s Day from Ohio Concrete.

📰 As demand for data centers continues to grow, so does the need for higher-performing concrete floors.

New approaches to slab design are pushing the industry toward stronger long-term performance through tighter tolerances, low-shrinkage mix designs, improved subgrade engineering, and a greater focus on durability from the ground up.

While these standards are being driven by large-scale data center construction, the lessons being learned are influencing concrete projects across the industry.

Performance-driven design continues to shape the future of concrete construction.
