More updates on the cat colony we’ve been helping!!! We’ve now gotten all 1️⃣2️⃣ kittens into our care! 🎉 These 3 kittens were the last of the dozen: Strawberry, Papaya, and Lychee. We also have one of the friendly moms, Nectarine, in our care, and we’ve successfully TNR’d all three of the other feral moms. The only one left to catch is the dad! 😼 This has been a massive undertaking involving weeks of trapping, coordinating, and transporting, but every single effort has been worth it. Thanks to this work, 13 kitties now have a chance at healthy, happy indoor lives, and the cat colony’s growth has been stopped through TNR. So thankful for our incredibly hard working team and for helping! 🫶🩷🐱

Content Warning: photo of a sick kitty ahead! A new kitten joined us the other night. ❤️‍🩹 We got word about this little one during a TNR project and knew she needed medical attention. After a visit to our vet, we learned that Wink is a little girl! They estimate she’s only about 6-8 weeks old. Wink has a large ulcer on her eye, but thankfully it does not appear to have ruptured. For now, we’re treating it with Terramycin, a standard topical antibiotic, and monitoring her progress closely. Wink will be seen again in one week for a recheck. Thank you for supporting little Wink as she begins her journey to recovery. ❤️
