We've Known Rivers

Our mission is to introduce, enhance and encourage the culture awareness of youth and adults, especially as it relates to African-American History.

We've Known Rivers is an organization of teaching artists. We share timeless stories of America's history through the impact and influence of the black experience. We make history come alive by creatively sharing dramatic presentations of famous African American characters, less well known, and composite characters through artistic dramatic performances. We also design educational programs for all grades and ages that link the past to the present for an empowering future.
