Household Tips
-Clean the coils under your refrigerator with a long brush, a vacuum cleaner is helpful, at least once a year (more if you have pets or a dusty/dirty household.)
-Every autumn check the hoses on your washing machine to make sure they are still tight. Washing machines tend to shake and loosen up hose connections.
-Do not plug your freeze into a GFCI protected outlet. If the GFCI is tripped for any reason and it goes unnoticed, the food in your freezer will be spoiled.
- Make an 'electric map' of your home so you will know which circuit breaker is connected to each electrical outlet, light, or appliance in your home. this will help you when you are troubleshooting an electrical problem.

Whether you are borrowing one of our mowers or wanting to keep yours in prime condition, you must clean your mower.
Damp grass clippings, leaf mulch or mud can cause rust, or a freeze & thaw cycle, potentially weakening the metal. Even though clumps of material will dry eventually, it will be much harder to clean off months from now.
Spray the deck, scrape off grass clumps & organic matter that won't loosen with water. Wipe the mower down to be sure it dries.
