J-POPS was originally founded as a way to help the people of Japan after the devastating earthquake and tsunami. All money raised went to the American Red Cross for Japan relief. After living and working in Japan for over 2 years I felt helpless and wanted to do something to help the country I love so much. So one thing lead to another and after much encouragement from my boss and official taste
