𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 (𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲)

I love finding the promises of God in the Bible. I know that the promises of God are ones that I can count on to be kept.

Some promises of God are something called a contingent promise. This means that the promise depends on something else taking place first. In this psalm for us to experience the joys of God we must first take refuge in Him. That means we must seek shelter, protection or safety in God.

Today take a moment to think about what taking refuge in God looks like for you 🧡

𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒚 (𝒐𝒏 𝒂 𝑻𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒅𝒂𝒚)

Another translation says: “Why would you strive for food that is perishable and not be passionate to seek the food of eternal life, which never spoils?…”

It’s so easy as believers for us to put our focus on building up the life that we are living right now. But the Bible tells us in James 4:14 that life is like a v***r. We can be here today and gone tomorrow. It’s important that we pour into our eternal life and live for the life that is to come.

𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬

There are so many things we do on a day to day basis. At times we can get so mixed up in the things we are doing that we forget who and what we do it for.

God is an awesome God. God is graceful and merciful and He sent his son Jesus as a sacrifice for us so that we may have everlasting life. He deserves all the praise & worship.

So remember God in everything you do even if it’s small. We don’t do things for the glory of ourselves we do things for the glory of the Most High God. Our lives are a living sacrifice 🙏🏽
