Thanks to the Ohio Arts Council for supporting our upcoming Columbus Rings 2026-2027 community concert series with ArtSTART Project Support funds!
Our music-making throughout our community and around the state this year is made possible in part by an investment of public funds from the Ohio Arts Council (OAC). The OAC is a state agency that funds quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally, and economically.

We are grateful to the Greater Columbus Arts Council for providing project support grant funds for our 2026-2027 concert season!

On Saturday, July 11th, several members of Columbus Rings participated in the demo bell choir for the Handbell Musicians of America’s Composition Masterclass. We collaborated with composers from around the country to sightread and bring their works-in-progress to life on real bells and chimes. We thoroughly enjoyed this opportunity to meet composers, ring with other ringers from around the region, and spend time with renowned director and composer, Cathy Mokelbust!

Please join Columbus Rings in giving a warm welcome to our new Artistic Director, Marie Clyatt-Larson!

Marie brings an incredible wealth of experience as a handbell musician, percussionist, educator, conductor, and clinician. She began ringing handbells at just five years old and has gone on to become a nationally and internationally recognized leader in the handbell community. She currently serves as the Director of National Events for Handbell Musicians of America and has taught and conducted ensembles across the United States and around the world, including Hong Kong, Singapore, and Macau. Most recently, she participated in the final Virtuoso with Dr. Bill Payn and the Raleigh Ringers.

We are beyond excited to begin this new chapter with Marie at the helm and can't wait to grow, learn, and make beautiful music together!
