Our members do so much in our community! Here's a message from Past-President Patricia Davis:
September is PBC Awareness Month. PBC stands for Primary Biliary Cholangitis, a rare autoimmune liver disease that I was diagnosed with in 2025. My husband Aubrey Davis and I have been invited to the Global Liver Institute A3 Symposium in Washington DC from September 25-28. We will join with many others at the Capitol Building and meet with our legislators in order to help spread awareness about PBC, and to advocate for more support for this and all other liver diseases. Aubrey and I are training to become Certified Patient Advocates in our community and we would sincerely appreciate your prayers. If you or anyone that you know have a liver disease or would like to learn more about PBC, please let us know. We are stronger together and we don't have to walk this journey alone.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our esteemed Emeritus member, Dr. George Corradino.
Dr. Corradino was a true cornerstone of our organization and community, dedicating decades to education and music. His passion, leadership, and warmth left a lasting mark on all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.
We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones. His profound legacy will always remain with us.
From Carole Nichols Mashburn:
